This year’s ThePrime Awards were announced during a gala evening held on January 30, 2025 at Žofín Palace in Prague. The winners in a total of 9 categories were decided by a professional jury consisting of more than 20 renowned experts in the real estate market and architecture.
The reconstruction of the Dunaj Palace included the preservation of iconic elements such as travertine cladding, the original atrium with a paternoster and a terrazzo floor. The new addition is a harmoniously designed extension with a walk-through terrace, which not only respects the surrounding buildings, but also offers a unique view of the historic center of Prague. The reconstruction, in which the renowned architectural firm Chapman Taylor and the general contractor Geosan Group participated, was completed in November 2023. The building now offers 6,700 m² of exclusive office space and 2,000 m² of space for shops and services.
Dunaj Palace stands on the corner of Národní and Voršilská streets in the center of cultural events near the National Theater, the Slavie Café and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. It has become not only a significant landmark of Národní třída, but also a sought-after address for prestigious tenants, such as the Representation of the European Commission, the Office of the European Parliament together with an interactive center for the general public, the European Investment Bank, the Czech Bar Association and the CMS law firm.
