Sekyra is starting to build another part of Smíchov. A large pedestrian boulevard and the headquarters of Česká spořitelna will grow here

Construction activity is beginning to move to the desolate southern part of Prague's Smíchov. Developer Sekyra Group is launching the second stage of its extensive project for the new Smíchov City district here. Within a few years, three administrative buildings should be built here, including the new headquarters of Česká spořitelna and a hotel. The private project for a total of 35 billion crowns will be followed up by the city and the Railway Administration, which are working here to modernize the railway and build a new transport terminal. Public investments will reach another fifteen billion crowns.

The new face of Victory Square in Dejvice

The new look of Vítězné náměstí in Prague's Dejvice will begin to take shape thanks to the winning proposal from the consortium of studios Benthem Crouwel Architects, Opočenský Valouch Architekti, Rehwaldt Landscape Architects, PUDIS and AED. This architectural quintet joined forces to create a well-thought-out design for the fourth quadrant, which Prague residents call nothing else than "Kulaťák".

Trade for more than a billion. Penta, Kaprain and Sekyra bought land on Victory Square

A consortium of Penta Real Estate, Kaprain Group and Sekyra Group bought land from the University of Chemical Technology (VŠCHT) in the western part of Vítězné náměstí in Prague 6 for an amount just over one billion crowns. It acquired a total of 20,122 square meters, ie the majority of the buildable area of the so-called fourth quadrant of Vítězné náměstí between Evropská and Jugoslávských partizánů streets. Penta said this in a press release.

The construction of new offices is coming to life

from BNP Paribas Real Estate by the end of 2021, almost 40,000 m2 and in the following period over 140,000 m2 of new offices are being prepared by developers in the territory of Prague. The balance is mainly influenced by large and long-term development projects - Port 7 from Skanska in Holešovice or construction in the area of Masaryk's railway station by Penta. Sekyra Group also makes a significant contribution to the offer of new administrative areas with its Smíchov City and Rohanský ostrov projects. Their plans have not yet changed the rising prices of building materials and energy. Nevertheless, construction will reach pre-covid level at the earliest in 2023.

During the first quarter of this year, Sekyra Group intends to launch Rohan City, the second of its major development projects. The first was Smíchov City, which started last year. The information was confirmed by Luděk Sekyra, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Rohan City will be within walking distance of Invalidovna Metro Station.

Construction of a new district on Rohan Island in Prague will begin next year

The development company Sekyra Group will probably kick the ground in Prague 8 on Rohan Island for the first time in the first quarter of next year due to a new project. This area is one of the largest development sites in Prague. The total investment in apartments, offices and other premises should amount to around 15 billion CZK.
