Primark has opened its first Czech Republic store in the Flow Building, Flow East’s development on Wenceslas Square in Prague, marking the 14th market for the retailer.
The pandemic slowed down but didn't slow down developers' plans in the retail segment. One of the reasons is the arrival of new brands on the domestic market. Last year, which was significantly affected in retail by restrictions related to Covid-19, 25 brands were added, mostly in the field of fashion and fashion accessories. In contrast, several other major tenants reported a reduction in areas or even bankruptcy.
Weber-Stephen Products, LLC (Weber), a leader in the production of innovative and high-performance barbecue products, has signed a lease for 1,200 square meters of office space in The Flow Building on Prague's Wenceslas Square. The Flow Building by the developer Flow East is one of the most distinctive buildings in Prague and the demand for space in the building, which is an example of technologically advanced and modern architecture, is high. Furnishing offices for Weber is scheduled for May this year, and the company will move to the new facility by September 2021.
The Flow Building, a multi-purpose project of Flow East on Prague's Wenceslas Square, is the first building in the Czech Republic to achieve the highest possible "Outstanding" rating according to the current BREEAM certification scheme.
