This well-known office building was built in 1977 as the head office of the Motokov foreign trade company and it garnered the reputation of an architecturally valuable and well-designed building. At a height of 104 metres (it is the second tallest building in the Czech Republic, after CITY TOWER) and its exclusive location means it offers a perfect view of the city’s landmarks and is itself a distinctive feature on the skyline of Prague. The subtle style of the 27-floor building’s new façade remains a model of architectural elegance for future decades. The building meets the strictest architectural, aesthetic and functional requirements, as illustrated when it won a prize in the “Redesigned Office Space” category of the Best of Realty 2004 competition.
BB Centrum is a new urban centre in Prague 4.
