Developer CTP ceremoniously launched the construction of a highly modern office building in the presence of Brno Mayor Markéta Vaňková, 1st Deputy Mayor Petr Hladík, Brno Deputy Robert Kerndl and City Councilor for Transport Petr Kratochvíl. The building for 1.5 billion crowns will complete the first stage of the development of the Ponávka complex in Brno and will offer its tenants the most modern technological and at the same time ecologically sustainable solutions. A modern city park for 30 million crowns is also being created in the area, which is a collaboration between the developer and the city of Brno, as well as the third part of the bike path connecting the Ponávka and Vlněn areas.
With the construction of the initial stage of the SO-HO Residence project, the largest Slovak housing developer, CRESCO REAL ESTATE, is entering the real estate market in the Czech Republic. For its first-ever residential project in the Czech Republic, the company has chosen the former Tesla Holešovice industrial complex, which will undergo a major transformation. A modern residential complex with almost five hundred flats will be built on the site of the current neglected car park and unused industrial building.

A future consortium of predominantly domestic studios will determine the future shape of the area around the transport hub at Florence and Masaryk Railway Station. The winners of the urban design competition announced by investors Penta Real Estate and ČSAD Praha holding in cooperation with the capital are UNIT architects and studio A69 together with a London company with Slovak roots Marko and Placemakers. It specializes in urban regeneration and sustainable planning.
Českomoravská Nemovitostní (ČMN) is expanding its portfolio with three properties in Karlín, Prague. It bought the office buildings of Zirkon, Apeiron (Rubín) and Corso Karlín with a total area of more than 30,000 m2, standing right next to the Křižíkova metro station. The transaction was financed by Raiffeisenbank.
PASSERINVEST GROUP, the investment company and Czech builder behind the creation of BB Centrum (Brumlovka) in Prague 4, invested more than a quarter billion crowns in the modification and construction of the public space in 2020 and the first half of 2021. The amount of CZK 275 million crowns, without any state or other subsidies, was used for, among other things, repairs to Želetavska Street, the construction of the new Náměstí Ellen G. Whiteové, the installation of the moving sculpture “Brouk” (Beetle) and the reconstruction of Balance Club Brumlovka. In this way, the company is fulfilling its philosophy to build a sustainable, and environmentally- and user-friendly environment, which has been part of the company’s DNA from the very beginning.
After thirteen years of preparations, the developer Sekyra Group is starting to change Rohanský ostrov in Prague. In mid-September, he will lay the foundation stone of the first stage, which includes two office buildings and two apartment blocks. Over 3,200 flats, eight administrative buildings and a primary school will be built on twenty hectares. The capital will then have to solve a park on another ten hectares of the development area and the connection of Karlín with Holešovice by the new Rohan Bridge.
