Building I, designed by the renowned architectural studio Studio acht, is a distinctive symbol of innovation and sustainability. Its unique glass "sawtooth" facade is a technical unique that has not been used in Europe until now. The facade maximizes natural lighting and provides all workers with an attractive view of Brno. The control of the documentation and the realization of this facade was entrusted to the company MFS Group, which has behind it successful projects in London, Amsterdam and Paris.
"Building I represents the perfect combination of cutting-edge design, modern technology and sustainability. Its opening is an important milestone for us and confirms our long-term vision of creating spaces that support the growth of our clients and partners. I'm glad that we managed to create this jewel in Brno, in a region that is key for CTP and where we support the development of the local economy and communities in the long term," said Michal Dospěl, director of construction for the Southern Moravia region at CTP.
The building features an advanced concept of smart offices. This includes, for example, intelligent lighting that automatically adapts to the number of people in the room, which brings not only high comfort, but also energy savings. It also includes air quality control, controlled by intelligent systems for heating, cooling, recuperation and air humidity. Thanks to its technological equipment and high-quality design, the building aims for the highest certifications of BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum and Wiredscore Platinum, which ranks it among passive buildings with a minimal impact on the environment.
"Building I is the result of our effort to push the boundaries of architecture and technology. During the design, we emphasized not only aesthetics, but also functionality and sustainability. Its iconic glass facade and smart technology make this building a unique work environment that will serve current and future generations. I am proud that we could cooperate with CTP on a project that sets new standards for office buildings in Central Europe," emphasized Václav Hlaváček, architect of Studio acht.
The new building also welcomes its first tenants. Among them is also the company PKV BUILD, a leading player in the field of energy consulting, which will occupy almost 3,000 m2 of office space spread over four floors.
The highlight of the grand opening was the test flight of a drone, which symbolically delivered the first shipment directly to the roof of the building. This drone mail system is the first of its kind in the Czech Republic and in Europe and opens up new possibilities in the field of parcel delivery. The system uses a unique Drone Helipad, which enables the safe acceptance of shipments from drones or other unmanned systems. Navigation of drones on the roof of the building is ensured using laser sensors of LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) technology.
