The offices cover an area of 8,700 square meters. “During the ten-year history of our studio, we have designed dozens of offices, but SCS Software has so far had the highest requirements for acoustics for peace and focused work of employees,” said Ján Antal, managing partner of the Perspektiv studio.

The concept of the offices is to represent an adventurous journey through a microworld in which nature and technology merge. The offices offer green nooks and darker rooms with neon lighting creating a gaming atmosphere.

The central element connecting all three floors is a sculptural wooden staircase, which takes on the colors of the SCS Software corporate identity. The staircase works with dynamic contrast – the interior surface in a rich red tone stands out sharply against the exterior veneer cladding, where smooth and structured surfaces blend.

“Our goal was to create offices where employees would feel comfortable and where we would provide them with everything they need not only for work, but also for relaxation and regeneration. The acoustic solution was key for us, because peace and concentration are essential for development work. At the same time, we wanted the offices to offer relaxation options – from massages to game rooms and a cinema. We want our people to have the best working environment,” said Tomáš Šimon, Chief Operating and Financial Officer of SCS Software.

The offices offer employees a large relaxation area, a children's corner, a room with board games, a fully equipped kitchen that is also used for joint cooking classes, and a coffee corner with its own barista.

SCS Software has been developing games since 1997; the company achieved global success nine years later with the first version of the game Euro Truck Simulator. The company entered the American market in 2015 with the analog game American Truck Simulator with an environment based on local realities.

Although the company has only these two main game titles, it has been achieving stable profits of around 500 million crowns for several years. The main part of the income is not the games, but their extensions, which SCS Software continuously develops. Players can buy, for example, new trucks or virtual versions of real roads in Europe and North America.
