With user-friendly user interface settings and print quality, the new i-SENSYS and i-SENSYS X devices are suitable for busy work environments. Another advantage is the shortened average warm-up time, which is less than four seconds. The scanning speed has been accelerated up to 190 images per minute (ipm). This increased scanning performance by 30% over previous models.
Additions to the Canon i-SENSYS range include the i-SENSYS MF842Cdw and i-SENSYS LBP732Cdw.
The Canon i-SENSYS X series was then completed by the new models i-SENSYS X C1538iF II, i-SENSYS X C1533iF II, i-SENSYS X C1538P II and i-SENSYS X C1533P II.

Sustainability in the lead role
The new devices expand the hardware offering that underpins the entire ecosystem of Canon DTS print and document solutions, enabling customers to take their document strategy to the next level. The modernized i-SENSYS X series is therefore equipped with functions to help with document and information management. It's Canon's uniFLOW Online, an advanced cloud-based secure print and scan solution that enables companies to operate a fast and secure document environment.
The i-SENSYS and i-SENSYS X series are part of Canon's A4 laser printer range, which was recently recognized by Keypoint Intelligence as the most energy efficient A4 laser printer brand in the period 2023-2025. The updated range builds on its award-winning features with a lower TEC energy factor compared to previous models, reaching up to 0.39 kWH. The new toner, which is fixed at lower temperatures and thus further reduces energy consumption, also contributes to energy efficiency.
Premium security features
The improved i-SENSYS and i-SENSYS X models are also equipped with robust security features that help ensure the confidentiality and protection of processed information. In the future, firmware updates will be able to be downloaded automatically - this will improve the security of companies against potential security threats.
