CA Immo continues to develop and improve the Riverside Karlín campus at the beginning of Rohanské nabřeží. The last two completed office buildings, Mississippi House and Missouri Park, received the prestigious highest level of WELL PLATINUM v2 certification.
WELL certification is a globally recognized standard for evaluating the quality of the indoor environment of buildings with regard to human health and well-being. Achieving WELL PLATINUM certification means Mississippi House and Missouri Park have met the most stringent criteria for air quality, water, nutrition, light, fitness and well-being.
"The WELL PLATINUM award follows on from the LEED PLATINUM certificate, which we received earlier. As a result, Mississippi House and Missouri Park become exceptional within the entire Czech real estate market. Both certifications confirm the high standard of sustainability and quality of the interior environment of these modern office spaces," points out Václav Jonáš, director of CA Immo in the Czech Republic. "We are very pleased to have won the first place, but now we are already concentrating on innovations in the buildings we have built here before. WELL certification differs from other certifications in that it places great emphasis on the effect of the indoor environment in buildings on human health and well-being. It originated in the USA and to obtain it, it is necessary to meet specific construction and operational standards, while the high quality of the indoor environment is measured and checked by an independent expert.
In the case of Mississippi House and Missouri Park, these are specifically the following parameters:
• High standard of air quality: The buildings have ensured the optimal amount and quality of the supplied air, which contributes to an increase in work performance by up to 11%.
• Interior lighting respects natural light: The high ceiling height, the location and size of the windows ensured a sufficient supply of light and a view of the greenery. The artificial lighting is equipped with Flicker-free technology, eliminating any annoying flickering. Lighting in circadian mode works according to the user's wishes or in automatic mode, while
respects the time of day and outdoor light diagnosis, or chromaticity. The light temperature from blue to yellow takes into account the natural biorhythm.
• Quality of drinking water: Strict standards for the quality and taste of drinking water apply not only in the offices, but also in the facilities and surroundings of the building.
• Movement support: The surroundings of the building offer sufficient facilities for cyclists and runners, and in summer also for lovers of various sports activities.
